Excellent!

Here is the original cover with the .com inside the L

and I did a version with a colored background (which can also add impact on retail shelves)

Still like the one without the color bar though.

I REALLY like the dot inside the L, without the color bar. Best of luck, and definitely looking forward to a subscription.

An idea for a topic. Take a real life situation from the news and point out what went right and what went wrong. Offer suggestions as to what YOU would have done in that situation. Post reminders that every situation is different and different people will react in different ways. What works for one may not work for another.

Sign me up when it comes time.

P.S.

Would submissions about Scout trips/activities be appropriate for what you are wanting to do?

Thanks

Randy

Emma (my daughter) gives it a :thumbsup:/>

I would like to suggest a "poor man's" survival section...I don't have a ton of $$$ so finding cheap alts for expensive gear is what I'm all about.

I've just got to say that the amount of talent in this group is humbling! I love the covers and the name. If I was a totally ignorant, mundane chap, and I saw this on the rack, I'd definately pick it up! I think now is the ideal time for this publication.

I'm psyched about this. I'm humbled to be able to be present with helping with something like this on the ground level. Can't wait to get a subscription (and a Foundation membership along with it).

I agree, it looks classier without the color bar and with the .com dropped...

Thanks for letting us help, Ron... it was fun. Can't wait to see the first issue!

Lynne

BTW, how about a review of survival schools for an article??

Just dropping in my reminder on a (possible) kids' section.

Kids need to be considered in any survival situation.

I love the . in the L and no color bar as well!
