You Might Be A Prepper If:
#1
Somewhat a serious issue, but with a look to the lighthearted side of the Prepper and their being prepared mindset. (Poking a little fun towards our own selves.)

Lets see how far it will go & how many enumerations can be made, before the plug is pulled.....

I will start the thread.

You may be a Prepper if:

01.) You have Military Surplus ECWG, and live in a tropical paradise.

02.) You look at job site tool boxes as just extra large military ammo cans.

03.) You're copy of Mel Tappan's Survival Guns is falling apart and has fading notes on pages margins.

04.) You have more oil lamps than electric lamps.

05.) Your children have their date of arrival permanently marked on their bottom.

06.) You pick-up wheel weights lying in parking lots for their re-purpose vale as bullets.

07.) You look through your own trash, hoping to find something of value another family member may have absent-mindedly discarded.

08.) You insulate the new garage walls with toilet paper.

09.) You live in an urban area, but have a privy in your back yard disguised as a tool shed.

10.) You own more knives, than the local Academy Sports store has in its inventory.

11.) You delight in a power outage, so you can check out your survival equipment & skills.

12.) Every closet in you home has became a food storage pantry.

13.) It is the highlight of your Christmas when the Lehman's Christmas Catalog arrives.

14.) For everything your Grandparents had, you want two of.

15.) You frequent the local ranges for brass, rather than doing any target practice yourself.

16) You have more survival books than your local bookstore

17) You understand the sentence "I EDC a SAK and also have on in my BOB."

18) You watch various movies and either verbally or in your mind critique the actions and skills or the characters or the plot in terms of realism.

19) You have back ups to your back ups for various tools.

20) People around you are freaking out about the weather and you are bored because it is unlikely to require using any of your skills or preps.

(21) When ever the topic comes up, everyone says their emergency plan is to show up at your place.

(22) You have to move your survival stuff to get to your survival stuff.

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! You got me on #30 for sure. I actually got my daughter some of those squirrel feeders that you stick an ear of corn in so she could feed them through winter because we HAVE had to use them for dinner before I was in a financial bind before.

31) You don't put empty plastic soda bottles or juice containers, or plastic grocery bags in the recycle bin- you store or use them.

32) You have some antique tools like a brace and bit to actually use if you have no power.

33) You laugh, either outwardly or to yourself, when some sheeple makes a statement about how people are safe when knives are banned, and you look around the "safe zone" and find at least 10 items you could easily kill someone with.

34) The same scenario, but you actually point out those items and explain how to use them, to the discomfort of that sheeple.

35) Someone asks for the time, so you set something on the ground and tell the time by the shadow.

36) You joined a prepper forum on facebook, and on multiple threads about book recommendations you see multiple people recommending the Boy Scout Handbook as the best survival/prepping book and you wonder if these people ever even skimmed through the BSA Handbook and any other survival/prepping book for comparison.

But for a couple more:

37.) You have more Ammunition than the local Wal-Mart.

38.) You have more salt stored than the local grocery stores have in stock.

39.) You have more bandages, wound dressing & first aid supplies than the local hospital.

40.) You have enough seeds stored to be able to plant a ten acre garden for 25 years.
