For me I love weight lifting and hope to get into power lifting. I do it for the fun of it, the health benefits are an added bonus. I am kinda dorky in that I like to study metabolic pathways in the body as well as hormones. I find reading about biochemical reactions really makes my day. This summer I was into glycerol gluconeogenesis, and now I am into the metabolic pathways of fructose. Before all that I was into protein degradation pathways. No wonder I had such a hard time getting laid as a teenager. <img src='http://www.hoodswoods.net/IVB/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Work and coming here to realize there is still sanity left in the world!

If I did have the time I would get back to learning my electric guitar!
Message of Insight and Unity

We go into the wilderness to fulfill our hearts and empty our minds of life's garbage.
The gear we leave behind and the challenges we encounter,
Are methods we use to cleanse our spirits.
Of Survivalists and Bushcrafters, Primitive Technologists too, we are one.........

It is the wilderness within, we strive for first and always.
Not everyone can have a cabin in the mountains.
The thread that connects us, is fine like silk and strong as steel.
Together, the song of the wilderness is the song we sing!

"And can I say something else?"
Bushcrafting is "doing what you want to do."
Survival is "doing what you have to do"
Primitive Technology is about all of the above........

Guided sex tours through Old Mexico.

Actually, I collect music of all kinds. I have over 1000 vinyl albums and about 3000 CDs. I have recordings of Tuvan Throat singing, hardanger fiddles, Japanese Bluegrass bands and skiffle band music, plus some more contemporary recordings too.

As for me...

I spend the most time with my beautiful family.. the 4 and 6 year old take up many hours each day.. and I love it! My other hobby would be studying Ancient Scriptures and Writings...

You can live for 3 Minutes without Air...

For 3 Hours without Shelter...

For 3 Days without Water...

For 3 Weeks without Food...

But you can't live at all without Faith!

Oh YES!! You just opened a huge can of worms there, brother! <img src='http://www.hoodswoods.net/IVB/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> There are plenty of us on here that do gaming.

Thanks Fox! Email me and I'll show you all my sockmonkeys! I have a bunch... lol

Here are some of the wool characters.

Thank you, Annie!

Love those characters! <img src='http://www.hoodswoods.net/IVB/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I still can't believe you make them by hand!

I'd never be able to do it.

I can cut holes in a wool blanket... or wear holes in wool socks.

Neither of those are really noteworthy, however. <img src='http://www.hoodswoods.net/IVB/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
