More Spam Happiness
#1
At the store tonight, I saw (and purchased) Hot and Spicy Spam, Black Pepper Spam, and Jalapeno Spam. For all you Spam lovers, this is exciting! I'm excited! Anyone try these yet? How are they? I'll report after I eat them.

Sadly, I think I missed the Garlic Spam.

Ever had one of these? I had one in the Japan Center in SF once --> AWESOME! <img src='http://hoodswoods.net/IVB/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I like my SPAM for breakfast: sliced thick and just pan fried dry then Mafran/Jufran banan ketchup slathered on top. This goes with two sunny-side-up fried eggs on top of a mound of garlic and butter fried rice.

Pretty much like this but I like the SPAM really crispy.

The jalapeno one is great! Not overly smack-you-in-the-face hot, but very tasty. Worth a try, at least.

No, Alukban, I've never seen those before. I've heard that in Hawaii, Spam is available even in McDonalds. Pretty cool!

I like my Spam sliced paper thin, and cooked super crisp (just like I like my bacon).

Homer Simpson would be drooling – Spaaaaaaam.

Ever notice how Spam shrinks if it is not eaten as soon as the tin is opened.

Strange that.

Hawaii consumes more Spam per captia than any other state. Alaska is number 2.

But in the world, the island of Guam has the most consumers of Spam per population because of the military occupants.

It said so on the internet and the internet does not lie.

I had Spam Musubi (the rice, Spam and nori wrapper) for the first time in Anchorage, AK. A coworker from Hawaii brought some to a company potluck and I loved it. She said that it was a common staple where she was from in Hawaii.

I love Spam of all kinds and cooked in different ways.

Spam / Mac and Cheese

Spam and Eggs

Spam, eggs and rice

Spam sandwich

Spam cooked on a stick over a fire

Kind of reminds me of that Forest Gump/Bubba segment with the ways to eat shrimp.

I think I am heading to the store for some Spam now.

Another dish that the same coworker got me started on was Kalua Pig.

I think my appreciation for Spam made a love for Kalua Pig natural.
