With an anti-gun District Attorney, reloaded ammo could be just the ticket resulting in an indictment & prosecution.  Even if you win the length & expensive court battle sure to ensue, you will have lost far more than a box of manufactured ammo costs.  At least with manufactured ammo, the DA can never admonish a jury, "and he manufactured his own ammo, to make it more deadly....."

That your home brewed ammo is mild, moderate or 'hot' means nothing, since it all boils down to perception, so never provide the opposition an opportunity.  Even if, cleared of the shooting, by a straight & honest DA, depending on the laws in your state, personal injury lawyers may still come after you, so never, Never provide anyone with ammunition to use against yourself.  (No pun intended!)

I have been hearing that admonition for most of my adult life.I just do not buy it,I cannot find one case, where that actually happened. It may have and I have not found it,but thanks for the well thought out reply. It is appreciated.
