Cooking bacon and eggs in a paper bag is easy and fun. In this video I will take you step by step through the process of frying your favorite breakfast in a paper bag over hot coals.

Great. Now I'm hungry!
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Could you cut a hole on top of the bag to keep an eye on the progress of the meal? Would that have any effect?

It should work just fine.

It's been a while since I've done that. I think we just put the bag right on the coals. But it's been a while..

Nice, no dishes to wash as you could throw the bag into the fire after you were done.

Ever try using a grocery bag for that?
Hope......is not a strategy.

I've never tried a grocery bag but I'm sure it would work.

I have used this method, but fry in the bottom of the bag.

It might be better to fry there because the paper is folded and therefore stronger and less likely to tear.

I did not bother to grease the bag, the bacon just released grease.

In addition I disagree that one could open the bag to see if the cooking is done.

I believe that part of the cooking is the oven effect inside the bag.

To open the bag, or put a viewing hole in the bag, would lose the oven heat, and prolong the cooking.

Using the bag vertically would also necessitate fewer holes in the bag, and the bag is easier to handle.

I hope you don’t mind me posting my suggestions, I do not mean to criticize your method.

And your method worked just fine.

I used a MacDonald’s paper bag.

You have some interesting videos Wingman.
