Swinging A Forging Hammer The Helm Way
I put together a little video yesterday showing how I swing a hammer when forging. It's something that I always start out with if I'm ever teaching someone. There are different methods, this is just how I do it.

It's the little things that count. Will have to record meself when it warms up to see what bad habits I've picked up.

It's funny when the kids come over to play on the forge, after 15 minutes whacking the metal they get about as much done as I do with one or two heats.
